Detroit!

We made it to Detroit safe and sound. We'll spend the night at a hotel, have morning devotions, then head to the airport for a very long flight. The drive seemed a lot shorter than it was, but maybe that's a fact of having had to drive to Washington D.C.
When we arrive in Japan, we'll have a couple hour drive north. It's a long long long trip, but it all seems almost done after a week of orientation.
There's not that much to say yet, nothing really profound. I'm just sitting at T.J.I Fridays waiting for dinner. Anti-climactic.
