Ready, Set, Go

It's hard to believe that orientation for Japan is finally in full swing. Seems just yesterday that I was interviewing for the position. The team has been discussing a book, learning some Japanese, etc., but that didn't seem too real, but now here we are. It's been an exhausting week so far, but getting better. A couple of us have been painting for a service project. We had a welcome dinner at Grace Fellowship Church where orientation is happening. We've been doing orientation discussions. It's weird being away from family, knowing you're not going back home, but being so close. More than anything, it's been draining, but I think I'll be glad I had this time of preparation. I'm super excited to lead worship on Palm Sunday at GFC with the rest of my stateside team!
