Taipei, Taiwan August 2016

I had to take a bus from the Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport to Taipei Main Station. It's a good idea to have your address in Chinese. If you take a taxi, the taxi driver may not be able to read it in English. On the first afternoon, I went to the Wanhua district. I got there by taking the metro to the Longshan stop. The Lungshan Temple is nearby. In the area are a lot of shops. You will find a lot of places selling jade, but you should know what your looking for. I don't know how to tell the true jade (actually, two different types of stone are considered jade) from fake (or other stone that might look like jade). You will also see a lot of stores selling religions items or figurines. The pictures below are from the Lungshan temple.
