Ode to the Sky: Explanation

It's been very rainy and we are now getting the rain coming off of the cyclone. Not sure it will actually hit us, but if I didn't believe in rainbows, I would build an arc. Almost the entire country of Japan is under some kind of alert and my phone sends me disaster alerts. (It also tells me when there's going to be an earthquake.) I think the cyclone will veer north and maybe hit Hokkaido. Right now the two provinces to the immediate south of Fukushima are at the highest level warning, so, not sure if we will be upgraded during the night. But I think everything will be okay. And this isn't the first time we've been hit with a lot of rain.
I did get the chance to walk in the light rain earlier today after work. I was rather foolish, getting wet and jumping into puddles, but the 21st century human spends altogether too much time trying to stay dry and not enough time getting wet. Sometimes I feel like we think the rain will hurt us or something.
It's funny, I love the rain, but the sound can be annoying after over a week of it. It rained the better part of today. I suppose I can commiserate with Noah.
